    The Cinders Flagstaff, AZ

If you are not familiar with the Cinders in Flagstaff, its a large OHV area on volcanic cinders. The main area is open, there is what they call responsible cross country travel allowed and open camping. Its very similar to a Glamis type area except instead of sand, its volcanic cinders in a ponderosa pine forest. Outside of the OHV area there are several FRs that provide great drives and scenery as well.

I'm a little behind in posting this as we went back on Memorial day weekend. I hadn't been in a while and this was my first time taking my current Tacoma. We also had some friends come a long and they enjoyed it as well.

Nice to have a place to put the "off" in OHV. Not many places left around here...nowhere as beautiful as the Cinder Hills.

    Thanks for posting.
