    Water Canyon - Zion

On July 2, 2016, Steph, Meg, Christian, Cole and I needed a warmup canyon for our week in Zion. Water Canyon fit the bill perfectly.

Water has fun little features; a deep pothole to jump in, some interesting downclimbs, some water to stem over, and a very pretty waterfall in the middle. Nothing scary, nothing hard. Plus the pools at the bottom of the canyon make it easy to cool off at the end of a hot day. It was a great way to start the trip.

It's over 100 flicking degrees... and you're worried about getting your feet wet?

Haha, is this similar to people who are laying out by the swimming pool but complain when people jump into the water and a little splash gets them? Nevermind that it's 90 degrees outside.

    ;)

Don't be silly Ice. Steph doesn't take the pink puffy jacket off until it is OVER 100 degrees!

Saturday morning was chilly and breezy, about 60 degrees, worthy of a jacket. Then it was scorching at the end, worthy of a swim.
