Northen Swell Part One Utah 2016

So, out of Green River, took off up the Tidwell Draw section from the south. I have hiked and backpacked in the Swell south of I-70 but nothing north; again some exploration in order. I drove by several homesteads and did some short hikes off the road and car camped along the way. The weather fortunately held up, the roads were ok, but a lot of rain here would make a big mess on these clay based ways. I really liked Cottonwood Wash canyon, and another hike along an old road then down a very shallow canyon but with big open apron of slickrock with endless chained potholes, most shallow but some soakers if it had been warm enough. I enjoyed this area quite a bit also.
