Trip report Whitting ranch

While I was out in Irvine California, took one night to rent a demo bike and ride with some locals. Wasn't used to the heat. Rode with some local boys and they beat my a&$. This is right close to Irvine, with some great views, not a ton of climbing, but the climbs at times were steep.

Saw one rattler and one doe deer on the ride. The bike I ride was the Intense spider 275c, got it from mtn and Road Cycelry for $65 for the day. Rode about 8.5 miles, the last decent was fun after all that climbing. The bike felt like about half of what my Ibis SL weighs. Rode fun, but a little too much air in the tires. Loved the ctd on both the front and rear shocks. climbs well and descends great.
