    Cibecue Canyon in Arizona

Anyone interested in exploring Cibecue Canyon on White Mountain Apache land in Arizona should contact Anthony Thompson. He is one of the Apache guides trained by the ACA.

    Anthony's phone number is (928) 594-9257

Exploring the canyon requires a tribal permit and an Apache guide. It is possible to do the canyon a few different ways:

    (1) going up from the bottom (5.4-ish rock climbing required) and turning around above the second waterfall to descend

    (2) from the top down as an overnight (shuttle required)

    (3) descending a tributary called Tank Canyon and connecting with Cibecue just below the third waterfall (long day, shuttle required)
