Five Ten Canyoneer 2 / Choprock

We found a men's Five Ten Canyoneer 2 in Choprock on Thursday April 14th. It didn't seem to be in there long as it is in good shape. Let me know if you it is yours so I can return it. I'm curious to how one shoe (we didn't see a 2nd) is left in the canyon.

That would freak me out... because... that last time someone found a shoe in Choprock there was a body attached when they tried to retrieve the shoe. A link to the story is below if you've never heard it

Which area did you find the shoe in??

(Not mine by the way, just curious).

In the riparian section - near the beginning.

We knew the tragic story. And thankfully, no body was to be seen.

It would really suck to lose your shoe near the beginning of the canyon. I wonder what happened?
Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.
