I've never understood why R is going forward on a 6, usually. Much prefer the intuitive R going backwards on a 5. Switching between my car and truck with a 5 and 6 leads to the inevitable screw up going into reverse. Switching from years of a daily 5 to a daily 6 took a good while of brain reprogramming.

On my M6 Corvette reverse is high and right, which is different from my daughter's M6 Mustang GT which is high and left.

The really strange part is both transmissions are manufactured by Tremec.

I think they just stick reverse wherever....

My big screw-up usually occurs when I grab for the stick in my A6 Toyota Tacoma.

Nobody's that stupid...it's magic marker. I've seen some really unbelievable tattoo fails...but usually it's just a single misplaced letter, bad grammar or misspelled word. This would actually have to be a cascade effect.

Ha! Ain't that the truth. I'm self employed and work almost exclusively with women...and I've had a few girlfriends ask me "Hey Byron, have you ever screwed any of your clients?"...and the truthful answer is yes. Twice.

Now I'm not a pretty boy, but I get the rock star treatment even now and then. But the fact of the matter is that women love to flirt, but they won't pull the trigger. It's a big move...too big. Guys think "Let's rock!" but the women think about what comes next. They are most comfortable with men they trust, so you've got to be cool when they tap the throttle, back off, tap the throttle again and back off. It's like a game...an ego booster kind of thing. Women are relaxed and somewhat affectionate with guys they like. You've just got to keep your head, go along with the program. It's easy when you've gotten a bit older and figured it out. The horny housewife thing is largely a fantasy, IMO.

Those two aforementioned women had one thing in common...they were both Jewish. Gotta watch out for those jewish gals, they're randy. By and large, they seem to lead the way with the throttle/brake thing.

^^^I had a woman once tell me for the most part a chick knows if she would ever consider banging you or not in the first 5 minutes of meeting you.

That doesn't mean if you're bangable you're getting a piece of ass... what it basically meant was if you were sent to the friend zone in the first 5 minutes you were never going to escape. I've found that to be true.

Yes and no...sometimes a gal just needs to observe for a while. Had a couple girlfriends that were entirely platonic until the day came they thought otherwise. But by and large, I think that statement is correct...Hence the old saying "You never get a second chance to make a first impression".

That's a tough one to nail...be cool and quiet or outgoing and energetic. You can win or lose either way.
