Snow Sledding Down the Horsetail Falls Trail
This past Saturday morning, a group of us hiked/snowshoe'd up the Horsetail Falls trail above Alpine. 4 of us packed up those skeleton-like sleds for the trip back down. What a hoot! A mile and a half back down a quite steep trail. I was hooting and hollering like a 10 year old kid! These sleds can really pick up speed so I had to watch it. The trail had been packed down by snowshoes so it made the trail like a bobsled run. The video isn't the greatest because I was recording with my phone while holding onto the sled with the other hand (I left my GoPro in the car). Fun stuff!
