SJCAM, Great alternative to GoPro brand cameras

I've got nothing against GoPro except the price. They are the current leading innovators in the action camera market. But if you're like me and you've smashed one or two GoPro cameras, and you just aren't ready to fork out another $400, the SJCAM products are a great alternative for 1/3rd of the price.

I'm buying this one soon for $159 vs $400:

The SJ5000x shoots video in 2K mode at 30fps, and the popular 1080 at 60fps. The "x" elite series are currently out of stock, so if you need a camera now, go for the "plus" or + series, such as SJ5000+. It also shoots at 1080 at 60fps, just not the 2K option.

The great thing about these cameras is they fit all of your existing GoPro mounts, so nothing else to buy for adapting to your GoPro montage of fittings. It's the same "3 slot" mount that will screw right into your chest or helmet mount.

Even better than the GoPro Black, this one has a 2" LCD screen on the back to actually view your filming target!

Here is some footage I shot this year with my SJ5000+, see for yourself. It's mounted to my same GoPro chest mount.
