Gopro falls into Rattlesnake pit!
I know the gopro is fastened to a pole or the hockey stick, but I'm still not sure I'd get this close.

You know what, I keep seeing this video on other sites described as "Drone footage" as well, but I'm not seeing it. You can see a breeze blowing the sagebrush at first, maybe that has let some to believe it's wind from the propellers. But it gets way too close to the sage brush and surroundings, it would have crashed.
Plus, the snake striking the camera would have pulled the whole drone down, chopped snakes.
I think he had it on the hockey stick he retrieves it with later. We would have heard the propeller buzz in the video too.
