    Beef Basin info

    Hello all,
It looks like we are heading up to beef basin in a couple weeks. We will most likely be entering from indian creek via the Bridger-jack road. I was just wondering if there was anything I need to know about, such as closed roads, etc, or any other helpful information before we go.
    Much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Don

Call or email the Monticello BLM, they'll know the road conditions.

If anyone's curious, the drop into beef basin was kinda washed out. I definitely wouldn't go without 4 wheel drive. Other than that, bridger-jack and elk ridge were fine.

That hill is always rough. There's often a couple of good ridges of drifted sand that cross the road at the bottom as well.
