Yeah not bad. Looking at an RV camping trip somewhere over UEA weekend in October too.

I bought a trailer in May to get the family out more and it has worked so far. We will use it about 8 times in 6 months.

Great idea @whansen! It's fun to see what others have done. Plus, it's a way to add hikes and ideas to my ever-growing "to-do list"

    Here's my list (so far...):

    Hiking:
    Fort Pearce near St. George
    Warner Valley Dinosaur Tracks
    "Little Narrows"
Adams Canyon 4x (and two more left for the summer; more for exercise rather than the destination)
    Adams Canyon Cabin
"Mossy Waterfall" in Little Cottonwood Canyon
Francis Peak from Bair Canyon - 2x (with one more time in a few weeks w/my younger brother)
Bell Canyon to Upper Bell Reservoir
    Waterfall Canyon in Ogden
    Bair Canyon to Thurston Peak
    Pffeiferhorn via Red Pine Lake
    Arches - Fiery Furnace exploration
Grand Tetons: Taggart and Bradley Lake
    Farmington Creek
    Parrish Creek
    Kings Peak
    Arches - Delicate Arch
    Arches - Devils Garden Loop
    Moab - Corona Arch

    Scuba Diving:
The Homestead in Midway (an annual event)

    Canyoneering:
Zion - Subway 2x (with another trip coming w/my brother in 3 weeks)
    Zion - Keyhole
    Zion - Pinecreek
    Arches NP - Lomatium Canyon
Arches - "Bramble Scramble" (not worth it) "canyon" (not technical after all)
Arches - "Much Better" Canyon (maybe "worth it"...but for young kids)
    Arches - Not Tierdrop
    Moab - Pleiades Canyon
    Zion - Kolob Canyon
    Wasatch Front - Willard Canyon
    Adams Canyon Waterfall
    Swell - Eardley Canyon
    Swell - Zero G
    Swell - Quandary Direct
    Wasatch Front: Great White Icicle
    Wasatch Front: Rocky Mouth Canyon
    Powell - Black Hole

    Running (milestone!):
    Ogden Half-Marathon (my first eva!)

    Water Sports:
Snake River section 3x by Jackson, Wyoming
Tubing the Weber River (always a good time)
    Tubing the Provo River

    Mountain-Biking:
    Kaysville BST
    Ogden BST
Moab - "Full Enchilada" (in October)
    Bryce - Thunder Mountain
Park City single-track (it's the best to buy a $12 lift ticket and down you go...never up )

PS - It will be interesting to see what @Scott P or @Rob L have done. They are our world-travelling superstars.

September already, eh? It must start earlier in the USA than here in Europe.

Well thanks for the compliment, but Scott is a much more widely-experienced international traveller and outdoorsman than I am.

I just travel places, whereas he and his family experience them. Which is no comparison.

It's pretty much been a typical year for us. Here's what we've done so far this year:

    http://www.summitpost.org/2015-trip-log/927123

Thus far this year, we've gone hiking or climbing on 97 days, climbed 64 mountains (attempted 67), and 9 technical canyons (a little behind).

Thus far, trips were in Guatemala, El Salvador, Saint Lucia, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and California. Later this week, we're headed for Idaho.

Here are some random photos of some of our trips:

Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.

I had some fun times (and some miserable times) filming with my drone this summer

    Wheeler Canyon

    Wild Horse Window

    Little Wild Horse Canyon

    Goblin Valley State Park

And the kids had fun too

I usually start my "Summer" season when I can get my first mountain bike ride in, and this summer sucked. It started way too late, it was such a wet spring that I had to delay my riding until the trails dried out. I didn't do as much biking or boating for some reason, but I was always busy doing something.

I took my wife Mountain Biking for the first time up in North Fork

I got to ride the new BST section in North Ogden, it's a decent trail.

I took my boy riding in Riverdale

    Mueller Park

Flew out to Wendover to see the Slaughter / Vixen concert

    Photobombed a few ladies

Had a little chat with Mark Slaughter

Ogden Bonneville Shoreline Trail a few times

    Subway Canyon

    Orderville and the Narrows

    Biked some crowded trails

But made up for it on other rides

Rode the Skyline trail from Pineview

Took my wife up to Park City

    Went boating at Mantua

    and Pineview

Went up to Bear Lake a couple times

and just got back from Lava Hot Springs

We actually used to go on more cool vacation trips when we had young kids. Now that we are empty-nesters, we don't get away nearly enough, partly due to my wife's waning interest in doing outdoorsy stuff.

May- Hiking and doing trail work up American Fork Canyon more times than I can count.
Lot's and lot's of road biking.
June- Hiking and mtn. biking up American Fork Canyon more times than I can count.
Mtn. biking Park City several times.
2 night getaway with the wife to Park City.
July- Mtn. biking up AF Canyon more times than I can count.
Week long getaway to Island Park, Idaho. Rented a cabin on Bills Island. Did all the local stuff as well as a day trip into Yellowstone.
August- Mtn. biking up AF Canyon more times than I can count.
Hiked to the top of Timp.
Kristin Chenoweth concert in Park City, 2 night getaway.
Weeklong trip to Phoenix to visit my new granddaughter.
Grand Canyon south rim afternoon visit on the way home from Phoenix. It's been awhile since I've been there and my wife and daughter-in-law hadn't ever been.

My cycling stats since February: 1,900 miles with 190,000' of climbing.
