So I'm building a shed
I built a deck last year that I think turned out pretty good, so it's time to build a shed and free up some space in the garage.
I had to cut down a few trees to make the room. It's a 12 X 14 with a 4 pitch roof. Currently I've got everything done except for shingles on the roof, double doors, a ramp up to the front doors and a little trim and paint.
It's in a low spot in the back corner of my yard that sees it's share of water, so I build it up on concrete piers and a 2X6 wooden floor for the foundation.

Nice! Great work so far. Do yourself a favor and seal off the undersides or you'll find it home to a zillion mice. Once the mice move in underneath, they find a way inside the shed and start crapping/peeing on everything!

You could probably get a closed cell foam insulation sprayed into most of the base.
Or just put a couple of cubes of rodent poison/bait underneath it every spring and fall.

leave under-shed area open to cats - no more mice, but you might get skunks or racoons in residence

I laid pea-gravel down as the base, then built the shed atop the gravel, then used that non-wood decking stuff around the base, sinking it about 1/2inch into the gravel. No mice issues anymore!

I wasn't quite sure how this translucent paneling would match up or fit, but my Dad had some left over from when he built his shed 20 years ago, it was a sheet metal siding shed though.
But I'm glad I went this route, because these panels let a lot of light in. I'll have power run out to my shed for lighting, but this will be nice to not need the lights turned on during the day time.

Amazing pics indeed. I wish I had as much skill as you...
