    Southern Skyline from Pineview

It's been a good month since I've been able to ride, and I was determined to ride this night even though the rain and big wind was picking up. It was still better than roofing the in-laws house, which happened anyways the next couple of nights.

This was also my chance to record with my new SJCAM, SJ5000+ instead of a GoPro. The video specs are pretty close, including 1080 at 60 frames per second, which is my favorite. It has the Wifi connection and can also be controlled via free app. And it has the LCD on the back so you can look at the viewfinder, watch your footage, or change your settings.

The size of the camera is almost identical to GoPro, and it fits in all of my old mounts which is a huge plus.

And it's $158 on amazon, compared to $499 GoPro Black.

Yes, I've been skeptical of the alternative GoPro cameras in the past, but you be the judge. Here's the footage from the ride:

A few pics, blessed be my ride with a double rainbow.

Nice video, I keep saying I need to take out MB'ing too instead of just road cycling. I hike this trail this summer as a round trip from the house in Eden. Around 17 miles round trip, It had been years since I'd been on this year and I forgot how steep the N. Ogden divide piece was descending to the parking lot. Right now the MB is set up for winter riding with full fenders and studded snow tires. Maybe when I strip all that down and tune it up in the spring I'll start taking the trails with it.
Exercise is the elixir of life!

Unfortunately, now this trail has been converted into light doubletrack to accommodate ATVs and Side by Sides, or so I hear. Thanks to the R.A.M.P. project
