Grand Gulch water availability during September
Hi All. I'm planning a Grand Gulch trip mid-September starting from the Kane Gulch TH and exiting at Collins Canyon. Are there any reliable water sources along the route during that time of year? Thanks.

Yes there are. Check with the visitor center at Kane Gulch, which will have a list of current water sources.
Also, the old trails illustrated map list permanent and intermittent springs, but for some reason the new one does not.Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.

Now that I think of it, I actually put all that information on a website. The below webpage list all the spring locations in Grand Gulch:

The ones with asterisk are intermittent.Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.
