    Thanks in advance.

This time of year, often the Cedar Gnats (away from the water) and the Yellow Flies (near the water) make the area Hellish.

    Not always, but...

Got to do Choprock on Friday (as well as Egypt 1). I'll post a condition report on candition later. Here's a pic or two. So far in June I've gotten to do Imlay, Heaps, and Choprock. Not too bad...

P.S. Deciding to do Choprock from Egypt trailhead and back all in one day, maybe not my best idea... :)

You mentioned doing it from Egypt trailhead was not ideal? What approach would you take? How long was it and what were the conditions like?

It is ideal, but I believe he meant doing it in a day trailhead to trailhead was not ideal. Most people camp at the Escalante River before doing the canyon the next day.
Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.

What Scott said... I posted a condition on candition.com, but it's almost certainly outdated by now.
