Her first MTB ride, Mule Ear North Fork
Actually this was my wife's idea to head out mountain biking with me. So I started on a fairly easy trail but it's got it's share of beautiful scenery. This is up in North Fork on the back side of Ben Lomond. My sister lives up there so the kids got to play with their cousins while we drove up to the trail around the corner.
Taking a first time rider, you forget how intimidating a seemingly easy switchback can be, even if it has a few loose rocks. She took a slight tumble but got right back up.

Yeah she says she'd like to go again. I'll have to keep it easy for a while, like the Bonneville Shoreline. Maybe even Ogden Overlook trail.
