    Heaps

I'm looking to add one to two people to a group wanting to do Heaps Canyon somewhere between April 25th-28th. The one catch is we don't have a 300 foot rope...

Of course, I'd always prefer someone who's done it before. PM me if you're interested.

I've done everything in Zion except Heaps. I've done lots outside of Zion.

If were me, I'd want longer days and the air temp's to pop up a bit.

    I don't know if I follow. If it's a jab, I guess the joke's on me.

I simply meant that I've done the trade routes in Zion, including the tougher ones like Imlay and Kolob and Englestead, so I'm not a noob that's getting in over his head.

I've got a 300' 8.3mm Imlay Canyonfire Rope. Very good rope, I love this rope a lot.

More of a jab at your use of the language:

"I've done everything in Zion except Heaps."

I've only done about 60 canyons in Zion, and there are another 30 on the list. Having "done the trade routes" is far from "doing everything".

    (History Lesson)

It also harkens back to an Iceaxe post WBITD, just before he started his website. He said something like "I've done everything on Tom's website... what do I do next?" Well, you start your own website and get out there and explore, of course.

(and of course, he had done only about half of the canyons on my website at that time).

    (/History Lesson)

How do I get on the invite list for helping knock out some of the remaining 30?

Usually just ask. Same as most things in life, people tend to over complicate things
