The day I kissed Miss America!!!

This picture is a blast from the past, 1985 to be exact. My friends and I used to do a local ski race series called the Coca Cola Cup. The biggest reason we did the race series was you received an all day ski pass for $10. The days race was at Alta and the reigning Miss America, Sharlene Wells, was presenting the awards. I managed to win the race that day and when I stepped on the podium to receive my award I grabbed the trophy queen (aka Miss America), bent her over, and planted a big kiss right on her lips, all to a huge cheer from the alcohol fueled crowed. Up to that point all the winners had been excepting their award and receiving a polite handshake. But I thought what the hell, how many times in your life do you get a chance to kiss the reigning Miss America. Go big or go home!
