This mild winter is going to come back and bite us in the ass.

It's crazy busy here on the East side of the park. My hotel is full in February! Lower gas prices and warm weather have people in the parks, plus the holiday and free park fees Monday. It's been quite a dry winter here.

Any updates on this since the last few storms? Are we still in serious trouble?

Various sources are saying it bumped our snow pack up an average of about 7% statewide.

1 storm does not a winter make.

However, southern Utah has benefitted more in the last 3 weeks than the Wasatch. Their need for water was arguably greater than up north as they had a greater deficit.

Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.

The Provo and the Weber are probably our two most important drainage's and they are two of the ones still hurting the most.

Yeah, I've known about that webpage for a while, but it doesn't tell the entire story...
