Grand County SAR's
Just talking with a friend in Grand County SAR, they were involved in 111 call outs last year, a record. This does not include SAR's inside the National Parks.
Be safe out there.

Or idiots who think a cell phone will solve everything?
This is off the Grand County SAR site, but it only has 2001 through 2010:
I've heard that per capita Grand County has more SAR operations than anyone else in the West (and they are the busiest SAR team in Utah). Kudos to those on the SAR teams.Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.
