South-east Utah canyons, Veterans Day Tues 11 Nov '14
I'll be in SE Utah for a few weeks in November, so would welcome any takers for a Veterans Day trip on Tuesday 11th.
The previous weekend of the 8-9 November, I'll be somewhere between Moab and Capitol Reef, so it makes sense for me to remain in the area.
Anyone available for a small rendezvous on Veterans Day? A few Wives, maybe, or perhaps Cassidy Arch Canyon in Capitol Reef?
At 11am that Tuesday, there may have to be a deliberate pause for reflection. In the UK we celebrate the same day, but call it Armistice Day.

I'm out that week too. 7-9 on Gooseberry with Army buddies from Iraq days, Subway on the 10th with Cody, and the rest of the week out on the trans-Zion route.
Remembrance Day, Armistice Day, Veterans Day, it's all about the same thing; take a minute (or a week) to appreciate what you have, and remember those we've lost.
