G-Kids run through East Lep
It was inevitable. By waiting enough years or long enough I would be able to join up with my Grand Children and friends in their first technical canyon. The pick was East Fork of Leprechaun. The East Fork is a great place to get this first time exposure with its abundance of slot canyon variety including a few straight forward and easily managed rappels. As an added bonus we had a few wonderfully stinky and cold pools to wade through. They took to the canyon and really enjoyed themselves. The summer rappelling practice really paid off.
Added bonus: met up with Christina (hesse15) and her friends at the end of the canyon. They had just finished the middle Fork Of Lep. Nice meeting you all!!
Thanks to my canyoneering partners Erica, Dejha, Alijah, Justin, Lorin, Elijah and Jeremy
Thanks to Lorin French for taking pictures
