Sawtooth Wilderness- Pettit Lake to Hell Roaring Loop
Hey Folks, I don't make it on here much these days, but I am still getting out and enjoying the mountains every once in a while. Here is a nice video of my most recent adventure in the Sawtooth Mountains. The Pettit Lake to Hell Roaring Loop is 30 miles total, and has some of the best scenery for such a short trip. I started on September 22, at 4pm and hike 6 miles in to Alice Lake. On the 23rd, I logged 22 miles past Toxaway, Imogene, and Hell Roaring Lakes, ending at MacDonald Lake. On the 24th, I only had 2 miles left to go, and finished the trip at 10am. It was a great hike with some much needed alone time! Couldn't have asked for a better time of year to go either! Hope you enjoy!
If you are wondering what my wife and I are doing in my Avatar... we are laughing at all you funny looking Bogleyites!
