Every Canyoneer Makes a Difference. Please join the CAC NOW!
You can dangle from a rope, span a bombay and slither down a chimney. But can you help build an organization that represents canyoneering in the U.S.?
The bigger the CAC becomes, the more effective we will be. We regularly deal with government agencies and land managers. These organizations always ask how many members we have. Most of them have no idea how big the sport of canyoneering has become or why maintaining access is important to so many people. We need everyone interested in canyoneering as members.
The Coalition of American Canyoneers is the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that represents the canyoneering community in the United States. We are currently working with the Angeles National Forest to maintain access to Eaton Canyon, one of the very best canyoneering routes in Southern California. We have also worked with several national parks to protect access and implement canyoneering friendly policies as they develop their land management plans. In addition, we organize service projects, such as cleaning up canyons, removing graffiti or raising money for SAR teams.
This is a MEMBERSHIP DRIVE and we are asking everyone interested in canyoneering in the U.S. for your support. Our goal is to double our membership in the next 30 days. Joining is EASY and FREE. Just go to our website: http://www.americancanyoneers.org/join-now/ And please, encourage your friends to do so as well. Also, please feel free to follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/AmericanCanyoneers.Can you see the bottom?

Cool, Kiwi. Love to have you West Coasters involved. Lately we've been working hard to keep Eaton Canyon open to canyoneers.

Hey Ice--
About 750, up from 477 when we started our soft launch of the membership drive. Added over 100 yesterday. Let's keep it coming, Bogleys! Thanks for your interest and for all you have done to build the canyoneering community.
