White Pine Lake, Tony Grove Logan Canyon
We took the scouts up to White Pine Lake yesterday. I hiked in with them, set up camp and I had to hike back out alone, as planned, for prior commitments. So they are still up there until Wednesday.
Beautiful area up there, 4 miles in from the Tony Grove parking lot and the last mile is mostly downhill to White Pine Lake.
I got caught in a pretty heavy hail storm hiking out solo that lasted maybe 20 minutes.

It looks like the flowers are really great now!
Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.

Yeah a lot more colorful than I was expecting. It was a pleasant surprise.

I've been wanting to do this hike for a few years. Looks like I need to make it so!
