    Favorite family outdoor activity?

What do you enjoy doing most with your family outdoors?

My kids love the outdoors, we try to get on the water a lot

    Favorite family outdoor activity?

My nuclear family is still pretty active and we try to do big family trips at least once a year.

So our favorite would be hiking and exploring.

One year was Kauai. So much fun!

Another year was a Zion trip where I took my 65yr-old dad and 64yr-old mom through The Subway and Das Boot. Along with emerald pools and angel's landing.

Another year was renting a Houseboat and bringing my brother Sanger 26' boat for a week and a half. We also taught my mother how to wakesurf (and she did for about 30 seconds).

Another year was spending a week in Moab, and taking the parents and siblings through Pleiades Canyon, Entrajo Canyon, delicate arch, hiking Negro Bill Canyon, Onion Creek and going down to Blanding.

Most years we will do short hiking activities with the nieces and nephews now and hike local canyons, camp close to home, hike the lesser known hikes to petroglyphs and smaller waterfalls, etc.

I'm glad I had a active family and active parents who facilitated my love for the outdoors. And not solely canyoneering.
