Weber River Singletrack
If like me, you have wondered where a good spot to take someone just learning to ride singletrack would be, check out the Weber River Parkway. There is a really fun trail system in the trees just east of the frisbee golf course that parallels along side of the course. It is a really tight trail that is hidden in the trees. It is actually really fun, and I has a lot of really fun ups and downs that actually makes it quite fun for veteran riders too. And I just noticed a "new to me" trail that is also a fun ride at the end of the parkway. If you take the parkway all the way until it dead ends there is a brand new bridge they just put in over the Weber River. Cross it and there starts a fun little 2 mile section of singletrack that ends in Uinta. I'm sure it's been there a while, but I didn't know about it until the bridge was built over to it. So if you're in the mood for just a quick ride close to home or want to get in an easier ride in for newer riders definitely check it out. Here is the link to the 2 mile section after the bridge:
