Island Lake - High Uintas
First trip of the year into the Uintas. Weather was great. Awesome full moon.

Good lookin' campsite and dog too.
Did you see the other lakes in the same area while you were there? IE - Fire Lake, Ramona, Big Elk Lake, etc.? I've rarely seen other people when I've been to Island Lake. It is a great place indeed.

How were the bugs?
Just where is it I could find bear, beaver, and other critters worth cash money when skint?

There where lot of mosquitoes. Bring the DEET! We visited Long Lake and Duck Lake. All where beautiful. .

Excellent! I'm planning on doing a solo trip up there in a couple of weeks.
