Canyoneering in the Sierras (Class C canyons)
PRIME TIME FOR CANYONS IN THE SIERRAS?
On Memorial Day I did Jump Canyon and Big Creek! These canyons are usually too high before August, but this year in May they were already lower than normal.
Now I'm planning to go do more sierra canyons (Opho, Crysalis, etc.) for 4th of July weekend. Has anyone information on conditions? If you do, can you please share it?
Canyon conditions can be posted easily on www.ropewiki.com, it has info on 980 canyons but (unlike other conditions websites) you can add new ones anytime .
Beta and conditions on Big Creek and Jump are available right now:

Go do them before they run out of water! :-P

Have Upper Jump planned for July 11th weekend, and Seven teacups planned for July 26th weekend. Hopefully enough water then!

Luca, where is Opho? Ever done the North Fork of the Kaweah? Great canyon.
PS - I think we went Lower Jump trip in a group together several years ago.
