    Imlay conditions

Went through Imlay via Left sneak yesterday with a group of 3.

Haven't been in Imlay in 2 years and in the first narrows section has a 30ft tall logjam followed by a rappel. Thankfully it's easy to traverse but be careful. Is that new this year?

Big Bertha was the coldest pothole in our opinion and it was about 4-5ft below the lip. A quick hook escape made it easy.

The water levels were probably at a mostly-full level. A dozen of deep cold swimmers in a 4/3 wetsuit and another dozen that were waist to chest deep.

Took off at 6:30am from the grotto (way late start) but hit the last rappel at 4:50pm.

A great canyon like always with great friends, followed by a great dinner at Oscars. :)

And left sneak has a rotting dear carcass that stinks horribly bad. Looks about two weeks old.

We originally had plans to do it Thursday but friends cancelled so we moved our plans to Friday instead; so I apologize for the delay...

    Have fun - be safe!
