    Cedar Mesa conditions

Saturday AM - early PM (Dirty Devil) - Lost Angel (not worth it) and Angel Slot (nice mini slot) dry. Good anchors in AS. Webbing/rope/cord in LA is getting pretty ratty (added add'l backup to some of it). The exit rap off a deadman is under water. The area was in a bit of a rain shadow.

Saturday PM: Fry Canyon had the tail end of a flash / running water through the Frylet which was pretty fun. Water tapered off in the wide section and normal water levels in the main part (~60 ft rap). Cold swim, maybe 40 ft before walk-able. Good bolts/webbing.

Sun: Drizzle in the morning, hit Duckett late afternoon when the sun finally came out. Most anchors were still in good condition for handlines or raps. Backed up one chockstone rap (~15 ft, DC-able for some) with a bit of webbing in case somebody slipped loading the anchor. Plenty of water up to stomach level (a good portion by-passable by stemming high).

Mon: Cheesebox (awesome) had plenty of cold swimmers and wading. Fairly clean water except for the narrows before the exit. All anchors good. We moved some webbing to better spots since a few of the existing raps were placed past good, easy slot sections. Wetsuits appreciated though it looked like a large NOLS group planned to brave the canyon without.
