Where are some good places to go canyoneering in So-Cal?

Had a great time in Zion doing some canyons and i want to find some local canyons or something like it anyone know of anything?

Here are my two favorite canyons in So cal.

Little Santa Anita Canyon

Little Santa Anita is beautiful. Starts in this really beautifully lit glade. All short rappels, good for beginners. Note that there are an optional threeish rappels at the end, but they require a little trespassing as you pass the dam. I did them back in February, and didn't run into any trouble, there was just a quick and easy fence hop and the end and a sign warning that you can be fined $1,000... so keep that in mind. If you'd rather skip the trespassing at the end, there's a path out prior to the dam, but you miss a few rappels. Check the beta for details.

Eric, how long did it take you to do Eaton?

Whezz, Bailey I found fun. No water though. Rubio is a classic with low flow seemingly year round with two big waterfall raps. Fall Creek is a blast with the water that runs there.

Took me 8 hours car to car for Eaton. That was with two people. Little Santa Anita was anywhere from 8 hours to 2.5 hours depending on the group, car to car.

A Poison oak..... Its in basically every So Cal Canyon that has water. I may go to LSA this weekend as all my PO has healed, time for another dose.

LSA has so drastically changed in the last 5 years, it pales in comparison with its former self; I rarely recommend that canyon anymore. Some of the best in So-Cal are Middle Fork Lytle, Bonita, Vivian, Great Falls of the Fox, San Antonio Falls, and the aforementioned Eaton (although I rarely run that one anymore due to all the graffiti and trash in the lower part of the technical section)

Ucanyon has really good betas too, and many that are more up to date, but I think Brennen is the most comprehensive list.

Seconding what other have said: Middle Fork Lytle, Eaton, San Antonio Falls, and Rubio are all worth a couple of runs. The Seven Tea Cups (at the south end of the Sierras) is definitely worth the drive!
