It regularly goes on sale on backcountry.com....Free shipping too which puts it at the equivalent price of other options out there. At this price its the best rope for the money...imho

Buying a spool is the way to go these days. You cut it at 300' (allowing for shrinkage), 200', another one at 100' and the last at 60' all for a grand total of $550+/-
