    It regularly goes on sale on backcountry.com....Free shipping too which puts it at the equivalent price of other options out there. At this price its the best rope for the money...imho

    Buying a spool is the way to go these days. You cut it at 300' (allowing for shrinkage), 200', another one at 100' and the last at 60' all for a grand total of $550+/-

    300' after it shrinks will be too short for waterholes and way too short for Insomnia.

    Adjust as necessary. 320' is what I would cut it at.

    Or 210' and 120'

    I have a couple C-IV ropes and can attest to their quality. A tad bouncy on long wet raps but all in all a great rope, especially at the price mentioned above.
