Subway conditions
Planning on doing Subway (regular route) with a group of 8 including several newbies - on May 19th and wondering about conditions.
I've been through subway a number of times but not in the last several years and never earlier than mid June.
Did it once in November with wetsuit but never used them other wise in there.
Wondering how much water to expect (i.e still any runoff or just spring fed), type of wetsuit needed, and if there are any significant changes.
Thanks in advance.

Went through yesterday. No run off just spring fed. There were some without wetsuits but the ones who had them were happier. I like playing in the water so its nicer in a suit but doable without. We also did Das Boot so we had to have them. Nothing out of the ordinary but the nice pool in the subway is still full of sand.

Thanks for the info, I'm planning on heading into the Boot in a few days.

The 3 of us all had 4/3 suits, I was not cold at all. One in our group got a little cold at times. There were only a couple of swims. Really fun canyon.
