    Twist my arm ....

A little bird told me it was last day of the season at Grand Targhee today. I only got four other ski days in this year. Two at Brian Head and Two at Snowbasin, one of which I ended up taking one child to ER after being on skis for all of 10 minutes. The second day was comp'ed by Snowbasin to make up for wasted ski passes. Very nice of them. But the last day skiing this season....was the best! I had no idea what to expect but figured it couldn't hurt to go ski on this last day. We bought season passes for 2014-15. I have only skied GT once 7 years ago in spring...snow was meh but mountain is gorgeous!

    Our drive up

The one lift that was open.

Snowmobile races we enjoyed as we rode up the lift.

Sarah's first powder day! First run was rough but she is a trooper and hung in there! After a good rest she took two more runs. Her turns improved and I think I found a fellow powder lover in one of my kids....finally!! She really did amazing.

I was almost knee deep in the stuff in places. Very happy girl to be up on the mountain tops.

Fresh tracks on the last day of the season is pretty much unheard of! Glad you and Sarah had a great time.

Wow, still plenty of snow up there. I've been hearing more and more about Grand Targhee, I'll have to check it out next season. Thanks for posting.

many, many years ago........when a day pass was $7.50 at Targhee........ we skied Memorial Day weekend, top of the mountain had knee deep powder and you skied onto the lift on straw....... Never a bad day at Targhee.
