    Kaysville BST Single-Track

I finally hit up the BST Single-Track in Kaysville two days ago. What a fun ride! Now, granted it's no Canyons, PC, or Ogden single, but for where I live, it's only a 2min drive.

But here are a few things to know about it first:

    1) It's a loop. No shuttle or long-ride is needed.
    2) The entire track is 2.11 miles and going at a decent speed (whatever that means) it will take 20-25mins.
    3) Elevation gain/loss is about 170+ft total.
    4) There is a new bathroom (outhouse) and water spigot right at the TH. Very, very handy!
    5) From the Highway 89 junction, you can access the TH in one minute.
    6) Once you see the "East Mountain Wilderness Park" sign and map: follow the arrows located at all of the trail junctions. That's it. Easy.

    Directions: 1599 E 650 N, Kaysville, UT 84037

Included is a GPS Track of the entire route: Kaysville Single-Track.kmz <--Click here to Download

Here's a overview of the Track:

Cool. Thanks for the report. I'll have to give it a go next time I'm up in Kaysville visiting my parents.
    Are we there yet?

Cool, I've only been on the Kaysville section a couple of times and I wasn't much of a fan. But that was a while ago, I think I'll give it another shot. I know there are multiple paths up there just like the Ogden section.

Do they still have those little exercise stations on that stretch up there? Like pull up bars, things like that?

That's the walking section. But those exercises were ripped out many years ago. People will bike the walking path, but the singletrack is new about 2 years ago.

Just don't get your hopes up too high like P.C. quality. But, regardless still fun.

If you are in the area hit it up, but I wouldn't make it a destination per se.

However, a good exercise would be starting at the Kaysville section, take the BST to Adams Canyon, then follow the BST to Fernwood Canyon and return the same way.

That should be a good 6mile+ roundtrip. And you could top it off with the singletrack afterwards for a good 1/4 day distraction.
