Phoenix-based canyoneer looking to find a some new friends to explore canyons with

Hi everyone,

I've been canyoneering since 2009, have done a handful of canyons in AZ and Zion, and taken one intermediate canyoneering course (mostly over the past few months). I have basic technical canyoneering skills and looking for a group to join or meet some new friends who also know what they are doing to go explore Arizona's canyons and maybe head up to Utah every few months or so. Now that Spring and Summer are just around the corner, I'd like to hit the canyons more regularly. I own a Jeep wrangler so can help with car spotting in off road locations. I live in Phoenix so mostly interested in Central and Northern AZ canyons for day trips.

I just finished Bear Canyon up near West Clear Creek last weekend. Swam through ice cold water, but the canyon was incredible! Made it worth suffering through the cold!

If you are looking for a canyoneering partner or have space for another person in your current group, please let me know. Also, when/where is your next trip being planned? I'm planning to head to Parker Canyon next Sunday.
