    Ford GT found last month in a garage. The car will easily bring over a million at auction. It is one of only three MK I's built with a MK II body, which means it's beyond rare. Anyhoo.... the story is here:

    That's funny. My father in laws name is also Larry. He bought a 69 Mach 1 when he got back from Vietnam and was also a freak about even washing it, even though he constantly whines about not spending the extra and buying a Cobra He did a full restore on it a couple of years back. He already told my wife she gets the car in his will

    People forget that when new the Cobra was considered a real piece of shit. They cost twice as much as the Corvette and were really half the car. The vette would preform with or better then the Cobra and was much more comfortable to drive with AC, radio, better ride, all weather capabilities. Which is why so few Cobra's were sold and that scarcity is now a big reason they carry a big price tag.
