K so Im about to commit to the fuuny farm of trials bikes

Have no idea what to look for and am clueless. Bought an XR650R and got lucky I guess under this same tude.
Great bike for the right job but would make a crappy trials bike :)

Any who I keep getting this warm fuzzy fealling with the Gas Gas. But have not a clue this is norm.
If you want to ride let's ride and if you want an attitude well we just need to do some more ridding.

But on a possitive note: The locale mechanic laughed at me when I told him of my 207 hr on the motor concerns.
Some slight valve adjustment and this is his words " you are fine untill about 500/600 hrs." Talk about a warm fuzzy feeling I got from them words right before a 4 day Moab trek.
    Let's rock.....

He did tell me that I'm doing everything right and to just keep the dirt out.

Did I mention just how much I love this big bore KTM bitch?

Trials is way fun and cross trains you for massive skills improvement in all your riding endeavors.

Vintage trials is just as fun as modern trials. Gas Gas, Sherco, and Montesa are probable the main brands for modern trials. I have a Montesa 315R, myself.

A TY Yamaha is probably the best way to give it all a try.

I have, ummm, some...... TY 175's and TY 250's

    Oh, ummm, and a TL125.

Waste some time on UTube with the cross training theme in mind. Maybe watch Graham Jarvis at play.

for example, can you do this???

Not sure at 52 I can pull this off but then again why not?

Im in the need for less broken bones and more bruises.

Me thinks this might be a good way to get your trials appetite wet, and these are cool bikes.
