I'd say Buckling Gulch is a do not miss.... but damn.... it would be hot in July/August. Last year it was deadly hot for two groups that perished doing The Wave (Buckskin and The Wave share the same trailhead).

That time of year can be tough, plus many of the canyons around Page are closed.
Aztec Creek is a really good one in summer, but you may opt for the boat ride out (you can schedule one out of Rainbow Bridge which will be the preferable exit in summer). Preferred summer route would be to enter Round Rock and out Rainbow Bridge. In summer, the place is full of waterfalls and crystal clear swimming holes. Watch for flash floods though! West Canyon from the Lake is good and can be good that time of year (we were there in August).
Other than those, Page is tough in summer.
Outside Page, parts of Zion, parts of Escalante, and the canyons around Flagstaff are the places to be in summer. Be extremely cautious of flash floods though!Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.
