Boltergeist and Yankee Doodle
I am looking at the option of hiking Boltergeist and Yankee Doodle this weekend.
After the rare snow last week and the cold temps, does anyone have any experience with these canyons in the winter?
Thanks,

Done both a few times in the winter. Yankee will have unavoidable water but it's a short canyon and we always just wear neo socks and no issues. The exit if covered with snow and ice will not be accessible which could cause an extra hour hike up and out of the main drainage. All water in boltergiest is avoidable but snow and ice could always be a factor
