    The reversed flag should be on the right to be correct. The flag in its normal position is displayed on the uniform on the left shoulder.

    Bonus question: Why is the flag reversed on the right shoulder?? You winz the internet if you get it right.

    Field of stars is to the front.. as though you are flying the flag and moving forward. Think flags flown on diplomatic cars... blue is always forward ad that is the side that attaches to the flag pole.

    Some have surmised that the stars go closest to the heart... not so in the army's opinion.

    (we have this magic box that we type in questions and it gives us answers...)

    Hmmm...sounds magical.

    Well you're googling paid off. U are correct.

    Because its on the right shoulder, the flag needs to be reversed, to convey the image that the flag is going forward and not in retreat.

    The more you know. Anyways...you winz!
