Heaps??

Thinking about hitting Heaps within the next couple weeks. Last Candition update was posted on Sept 23. Anyone been through more recently and have an idea of conditions?

Can you say cold?

Once it gets cold enough, I'd be worried about flash freezing of any dripping water on the rocks, Making pothole escapes very difficult. It's certainly not cold enough yet. I don't suspect that ice is an issue right now but may be in a few weeks. The cold air will settle into the canyons and I imagine they take on a very unique and dangerous state; places not meant to be trod by man.

Ropes, like 4x4's and rafts, can easily take man into places he ought not go.
