    North Fork of Robbers Roost

October 18, 2013. First time in the North Fork of Robbers Roost Canyon. Morning temperatures were 35 degrees. The canyon is dry except one cold waist deep pothole and a little mud, about midway through the canyon. No way around, just straight through. Excellent scenic canyon. The rappels are small, but the canyon makes up for it in scenery. Do not underestimate the exit...a great deal of stemming and up climbing. It was a real workout, but I would do it again.

Looks amazing!! Can't wait to see this one.

Your first rap anchor setup is interesting, has a lot going on. Is the tan webbing attached to the rope another backup? Couldn't make it out from the pic.

Nice job, and thanks for posting up your trip.

I'm not a fan of that exit.

Great trip report...A great desert stroll...

I agree...the exit can be a little bit of a pain...Just so you know...you can exit right before the last rappel. A walk out...sometimes I will rappel the down and climb back up via the "holes" in the rock...kind of fun!

First Anchor setting, tan webbing, is just a backup and I agree, "Way to much going on."
