Grand Teton National Park Open Again!

After two weeks of being shut out of the Parks, Grand Teton National Park reopened yesterday. Park employees went around removing the many barricades at pullouts and roads and most areas are open as though nothing ever happened. Most people might already know, but 97% of Teton County is owned by some sort of National government agency: National Park, National Forest, or Wilderness Area. For anyone interested in the outdoors and all it has to offer, I can't image anywhere else better! I am prejudiced, of course. Cheers, Mike Jackson

During the shut down, I created a page on my blog site letting people know of alternative places to visit, photograph, and enjoy just outside the park. Also, I have been making a daily update post letting people know of road closures, hunting info, wildlife sightings, foliage reports, and so forth for GTNP.
