    Sandthrax Camping Area

    As many have reported, the Sandthrax Camping area (and nearby highway) were trashed by the floods a few weeks back.

    We drove through a few days ago and snapped these pix.
    Utah DOT crews have been through and fixed the parking lot so you can still drive in and camp.
    Certainly there is less parking, and the sand has moved around a lot.

    I saw on the 700 club last night that the flood was

    "Due to canyoneers turning away from Godly anchors and community conduct to embrace YouTube, helmetless canyoneering, gratuitous forum posting, and a multitude of additional really bad sins."
