Wow. Thanks for sharing. I always point out, it takes courage to discuss an accident. A lot. The fear of ridicule, seeming like an idiot, or whatever else, is strong.

Wow, good self-analysis.
As (often) ridiculer-in-chief, I will take a pass.
Heal quickly. Glad it wasn't me!!!

Those poor dogs need to do some serious "gelling." Please let us know how the recovery goes. Glad my wife does not stay up with Bogley! I'd have some 'splainin to do.

Hi Brian
I'm the man in the alcove that threw the water bottle down to you. I'd like to talk with you sometime.

Brian, how about an update on your condition? How is the foot mending?

Doing well. I was laid up for 3 weeks and then on crutches for 5. Now I'm hobbling around pretty well. Hope to be back in the canyons soon. Thanks for asking.

What kind of repair did the surgeon have to do on you broken foot?

Humility in Mindbender
In early June I returned to Mindbender to finish the canyon properly. As I stood looking at the site of the fall, the 20 foot non-downclimb canyon right of the second short drop, it occurred to me how hubris had blinded me on October 4. Then, I approached Mindbender with arrogance rather than with the grace and humility the canyon deserves.
On a side note, I ascended the moki step exit quite easily with two fairly healed feet!

Please tell them to take my survey :). I will be posting my findings on a later thread. https://humutah.co1.qualtrics.com/SE...uGDTaNNPnvtKJL
Its on extreme sports people that's all I'm allowed to say but its going to be some good data. (not an add this is a legit study by me and the University of Utah)I could fall off that and live.
