    Avid petroglyph photographer injured.

WARNING THIS PHOTO IS PRETTY GROSS. A friend of mine Jon Bailey Photography who has made a career out of photographing Utah's many spectacular and enchanting petroglyph panel's wasn't able to get out of the way of a 400lb chunk of sandstone that dislodged from above and hurtled towards him this is the injury he sustained.
He go's to some of the most remote, inaccessible and secret locations around Utah to photograph and document these petroglyph panels, some of which have never been seen by modern man. I'm sure the people who carved these mystical images in stone endured many hardships to place them there for us to ponder, and Jon Baily endures similar hardships and dangers getting to them and photographing them so we all can enjoy them, thank you Jon get well & stay safe.

You can view his remarkable collection of petroglyph images on facebook Jon Bailey Photography

    or his personal website

I and all of my FB & Bogley friends wish him a speedy recovery and safe goings in all of his future endeavors.

Several of you have messaged me asking to see the injury. I have already posted this image on my personal page, but I guess I can post it here as well.

I'll be back to photographing soon, hopefully!
